12:30 am - Hello peoples
Not sure why I thought of LiveJournal today, but here I am. I don't seem to know anyone here anymore, not surprising, it's been years! Thought I'd just check in for the fun of it. :)

2:08 pm - Ummm stuff
I just realized that it has been about forever since I either checked or wrote to my journal, but that's ok!

I was thinking this morning about some forum posts I read regarding marriage and men's and woman's roles in marriage. None of them had the mind of God in it. So I thought about what marriage is to God.

Marriage is God the head of Christ, Christ the head of man, man the head of woman. Marriage is when Jesus took a spear in the side, so that there would be room for His Bride to enter His ribcage. Marriage is to reverence your husband and for your husband to life you up to God. It is Christ, the head of His Body, it is the union of the perfect spotless Bride with her Husband. It is a deep and intimate place with God.

Any union formed of man and woman (or any combination thereof) that is not formed by the mind of God in that marriage of the Lamb is fornication.

There, now I feel better!

I was listening to the Book of John today. I love it that the sheep of Christ know His voice and follow Him in spirit and in truth. I love it that God makes sons to inherit His kingdom here on this earth. I love it that all that are not called by God are deaf and blind to His word, cannot hear, cannot see, cannot take Him in! Thank You God that you are a discerning God, who is intimately involved with Your universe at all time. Thank You that You have directly worked in my life to kill who I was and to resurrect me today into a new person. Thank You for coming TODAY to sit with me.

Thank You also that your people are not required to cut themselves, like the priest of Baal, but that YOU shed YOUR blood for those You have called, justified and joined to You. Awesome!

... Mortified?

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if
we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and
me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad.

When
you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be
surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Ok.... so I bit! :)

I came across this article....

http://www.armytimes.com/story.php?f=1-292925-1077495.php

Wow... now our citizens are being treated as insurgents because they are afraid and wish to protect themselves when military men come to their disaster torn homes! Look ahead and you will see the military state coming into being. Good bye any remnant of our Constitutin, good bye any remnant or pretense of free speech or free people. Farewell to the grand experiment that was the United States of America.

7:37 pm - What if....
What if the devil manages to convince us that we fight sin in our own flesh, rather than battling him as a principality?

What if we are told that it is mainly our own sinful nature that separates us from God, rather than joining with Lucifer at the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Would we not turn our eyes towards our own self and away from God and Lucifer? Would we not then be blind to the wiles and the works of the devil as he speaks within us, so that we may not stand against him and with God? Wouldn't we forget that we need to be led by the Spirit of God to be a son of God and go off trying to "sin no more" without really knowing what sin is? Isn't sin actually that place of whoredom where we are joined to the devil by listening to his lies, rather than joined with God by the hearing and believing of Jesus Christ?

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places .

I have been shown by the Spirit of God that my flesh is not capable of discerning spirits, I need God to show me. If I were to think I was fighting my flesh, I'd soon be following every spirit that whispered in my ear (as I did before the Lord opened my eyes). To wrestle principalities (spirits) I need God to show me what they are, where they work in my life.

Also... I know that before I knew God, I spoke of "the devil" and of "God" and "spirits" without any understanding whatsoever. I thought I knew some things, I thought I believed some things. I did not know what a spirit was, I did not know how they truly work, I was taught by religion that my sin was found in what I did, not in the places in my heart that were joined to Lucifer - whom I really didn't believe in anyway! I know today that no one can believe unless the Lord Jesus takes them there and SHOWS them in power, in truth, in spirit, what is real. We can only guess and think we know what is what, but we are truly blind.

What if we turn to the living God and call out to be shown what is real? What if we are willing to give up all that we think we know for what God shows us, which things are given witness in the bible as having been shown to others throughout time. What if faith is truly the hearing and believing of the living God through Christ Jesus? And the works of faith are to obey what He speaks to us? What if we allow our selves to be made humble before Him, to give up all posessions (including ideas about who God is and what we ought to believe)?

I ask You, O Lord, to come sit with me soon, so that I might love You and hate this world, hate my very "self" which has joined with the devil against You so many times. Please, come to set me free of other masters, other unions, other contracts.

Thank You, O Lord Jesus, that You gave Your life to do that very thing for those that would believe, for those Your Father gave You at the foundation of this world!

We are called as Rahab - whores in this world - and saved as Lot - a righteous man, grieved at the evil of Soddom and Gomorah. So much there... We are called by Christ in men out of our whoredom. We are saved running from the destruction of Soddom, prayed for by our brothers.

Just some thoughts and desires today....

I want the Lord to reflect His glory through me. I was born blind to Him so that He might manifest His works in me.

Thank You O Lord!

I am tired of my flesh having the power to move me from the place I want to be. Dear Lord, I ask You to kill it for me, so that I may walk in my desires.

I was talking with Mark F on the phone this morning, it has been a dry time for me in the spirituals. He pointed out that no one leaves the living God without having been given a choice... first the Spirit comes, then a brother, then the church. Anything else is evil spirits coming to try to steal my very life from me, to steal my joy. I have a husband, I am not to battle them, but to send them to him. I am to reckon that I am right with God unless told by the Spirit with witness in the Body of Christ. I know that "dry times" are for me to grow roots through reckoning the things He has spoken to me. Thank You Lord that there are quite a few of them! Sometimes I struggle a bit to walk in the things the Lord has spoken to me, but even so, He will work all that out for me, because those are the things HE has given me.

Lord, You are God, shape me to Your will. Make me a servant to You. Shape me to be a wife and a mother. Let my life be a life of prayer, a reflection of Your will for me. Let me walk with You as Abraham did - as Your friend, as one that knows the mind of the living God, one that speaks and that hears. Let me walk with You as a son of God - being led by Your spirit into greater and greater liberty and life. Thank You for my family in the Spirit and in the flesh. Let my heart be as a still lake before You, reflecting You without a ripple.

I love You, God.

Gen 12:1-3
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Isaiah 51:1-3
Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Galations 3:14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We need to look at how we judge Abraham and be very wary to fear God when we judge those He loves.

8:49 am - Government and Authority
I seet that modern religions twist many scriptures out of their
true position. I'll post the relevant verses in a moment, but first of
all you need only look at Jesus to see that He was NEVER under Pontius
Pilate, He did not obey the worldly authorities (nor the religious
ones) in anything, but always obeyed God, the Father.

The Apostles were the same - when the authorities told them to quit
preaching the Gospel, they went ahead. Apostle Paul speaks of bearing
stripes several times for the Lord - those stripes were the response
of the worldly authorities to his "obedience". I believe the
willingness of the Apostles to die for Jesus as they defied the
world's authorities in their attempts to shut down the preaching of
the Gospel is quite clear as to their position. It was not for
submission to worldly authority (which is in the hands of the "prince
of this world") that they were beaten and killed, it was for defiance
of that worldly authority, both religious and secular! Jesus Himself
was crucified, fully within the "legal system" of the day.

If the Body of Christ were compliant with the authorities of this
world, there would have been no reason to persecute them, beat them or
kill them.

I believe it goes more like this.... As a picture, let's say that God
told us that a giraffe was to be our ruler and obeyed with all our
hearts. However, we have never seen a giraffe, but must go by
descriptions. Unfortunately, Lucifer was able to alter the description
of a giraffe to have sharp teeth that tear, a full mane and claws that
rend. Never having seen a giraffe, we would submit ourselves to a lion
in error. So, who is God telling us to submit ourselves to? Who does
He call "rightful rulers" and legitimate government? If we do not know
that, we do not know who to submit to.

The governments in the world today have all been formed by the
overthrow of the previous government, even the United States. This has
gone on for a very long time, one government supplanting the previous
one, usually with violence. Are these governments legitimate? At what
point does a violent and rebellious people become the legitimate
government? When did we last see a government that is legitimate in
the eyes of God?

One that I am positive of is King David. Another is the kingship of
Lord Jesus. There were many kings listed in the bible as walking
perfectly before God, I am sure of them too.

Rom 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there
is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

There are two ways this can be read. One is that any ruler in this
world is a power ordained by God. The other is that any power in this
world that is NOT ordained by God is NOT a higher power. I believe the
latter to be true and that these verses go on to describe our
"giraffe" - the powers ordained by God for us to follow.

Rom 13:3-4 "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the
evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is
good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister
of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid;
for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a
revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. "

Here then is our description of a "giraffe" with a list of attributes.

1) A ruler is not a terror to good works, but to evil.

2) A ruler is a minister to God for our good.

3) He bears a sword.

4) He executes the wrath of God on the evil.

This country does evil every day and that evil is under the authority
of our president. Now, I am not even concerned about the current
president, but that the government of the United States is NOT in line
with the Law of God (the Law of Moses) OR the knowledge of the Spirit
of God through Christ Jesus. If we are not under Christ as our King,
then how can we be "good"? Didn't Jesus say, "there is only one that
is good."?

Is the ruler, the higher power, over this country a minister to God
for our good? How can that be? Everywhere you look there is
wickedness! We are surrounded by men that hate God, that pursue
agendas contrary to the will of God and are applauded for it. Where is
any true minister speaking against evil so that we may repent and turn
to the living God? Certainly NOT within our "secular" government!

What does it mean for our ruler to bear a sword? It is not about
making war on other countries, that sword mentioned there is the Word
of Truth, Christ Jesus, come to divide rightly between God and the
fallen, to judge the hearts of men. King David bore a sword in that
way. King Asa did and Jehu. Jesus IS that sword in the spirituals. He
speaks and the living things are separated from the dead ones. Nothing
of the flesh can stand before God in His power. It will all die...
that is the work of the sword spoken of there.

Where today do we see a ruler execute the wrath of God on the evil? I
tell you that the war in Iraq is NOT that rightful execution, but
first a man's house and a man's land must be cleansed before that
could be turned outward. This country is full of evil. It is as Sodom
and Gomorrah before God rained fire from the heavens onto it.
Everywhere men are joined to their lusts against God. I would gladly
follow a ruler that would execute wrath against evil anywhere in this
world. I pray to know him when I see him.

Eph 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. "

Are we to submit to the "rulers of the darkness of this world" or to
wrestle against them? I fully believe that Apostle Paul DID wrestle
against those rulers, both as manifest within men's bodies and as
manifest as spirits. I speak of those principalities by experience, I
have seen both.

I say again that the pneuma of those verses in Rom 13 is as this one:

Heb 13:17 "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit
yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give
account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is
unprofitable for you."

I believe our rulers are truly those that "watch over our souls", not
the prince of this world.

7:54 am - Today is the day of the Lord
When we hear God speak to us, it is for us to hear and to believe NOW. Today is the day of the Lord, of His judgment, of His sons, of His life. Today we are not to harden our hearts, but to bend the knee and worship God. Christ is NOW! Let us all bow down before Him and seek Him out in all that we do. There is a living God and He commands His sons to LIVE! Let us all seek that out and do it now.

I love you, God!

How can we sit here and celebrate "happy holidays" and the spirit of mammon in comfort while the US soldiers kill old men, women, children and allow their bodies to be eaten by dogs? WHAT ARE WE THINKING??? O Lord, do NOT allow me to be comfortable with this!

11:43 pm - Christmas
Ya know... I was reading LJ posts tonight and I just couldn't do it. I can't be a part of the "Christmas Spirit". It is not the Spirit of God and there is only one other choice - the prince of this world. It is no longer my desire or heart to have anything to do with such things that would take my mind and eyes away from my King.

This holiday is all about "mammon" (the ability to live without faith in God) and the lusts of the flesh. Even the happy religious symbolism is all about pagan religions, "feeling good" about ourselves and our good works, and was taken pretty much directly from pagan religions (as was the date) to bring them into the Catholic religion. God was not in any of it, it was all about the power of the Pope over people and rulership stolen from God and given to men. We want to go along with it, because we can feel good about the "good works" we do, we can enjoy lush meals, giving and receiving gifts, beautiful decorations and all that. We can feel good about the religious pagents as well, the candles and songs and emotional highs. This is NOT God. We tell the story of the baby Jesus, but what good does that do if we deny Him in the whole of our lives? Where will we see people that will deny this world to love God?

Not in this holiday, that is for sure!

I know something better than this artificial happines, stress, fulfillment of my lusts for things, food, attention, self righteousness. I know the living God, I know union and fellowship with Him. This is a quiet and deep joy, but it is far greater than to be aligned with that nasty union of spirit and flesh which we call "Christmas", as if to put His holy name on it will make it His! Doesn't He say NOT to take His name in vain? Isn't that more properly translated as to keep from taking His authority and making it empty? To keep from using His name on things that are NOT Holy and NOT His, that He did NOT speak?

I am no better than any other, but it is my desire to be one with God, to seek out His mind and will regarding all things. It is my hope and prayer that He will answer that by sitting with me in fellowship, sharing His bread and His blood with me. What does anything in this world mean next to that?

Proverbs 30:7-9 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny thee , and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain .

A quote from our chat tonight... makes me smile inside because the Spirit of the Lord bears witness to it... I can see it in my own life and it is awesome!

MadMarkus: say this to the religious.....
MadMarkus: "I cannot labor against the truth. I can live recklessly and not pay the consequence. My life is and has always been perfect, without regret. I am a son of the Most High God by his choosing."

Thank You, Lord!

Well... I'm getting a bit tired, but I am glad, because I have done almost all that I wanted to do today. With a bit of help gathering and messing around, I put up (I haven't counted them yet) approx 20 qt bags of apple slices in the freezer and will have a TON of applesauce. I cooked three big pots of apples - now I need to find freezer conatiners for the sauce (I had to quit, I ran out of bags) and cans to can some of it. We haven't even touched the big tree full of apples!! (or the little one with four varieties, but that won't be much trouble)

I think we need to buy cases of cans - I hear Golden Delicious makes great sauce! And there are more beets to pickle and zucchini relish to make and.... we need a bigger kitchen too!! Or at least to have pantry cleaning day.

6:43 am - a chat about God's wrath
MadMarkus> speaking about the place of wrath....
Crystal> oh
MadMarkus> sharing as much as the Holy Spirit has spoken to us about the place of God's absence.
MadMarkus> Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
MadMarkus> But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Crystal> sounds unwelcoming.
MadMarkus> well....
MadMarkus> those things which are listed there exist in spirit first....
Crystal> how?
MadMarkus> even though when I was in religion I would not "lie" or "murder" I was found by the Lord to be both in the day that He called me
mic> yes me too
MadMarkus> because men, according to the tree of knowledge had defined those words....
MadMarkus> in the carnal mind.
MadMarkus> not according to God....
MadMarkus> I can tell you this, that Lucifer is called the father of murder...
MadMarkus> the murderer from the beginning...
MadMarkus> and yet, he would have all men live forever, that is his desire, that they live in this life apart from the judgement of God forever....
MadMarkus> so his scientists and doctors search and search to defeat death and suffering...
MadMarkus> and yet Lucifer is a murderer, how is this possible?
Crystal> hm
MadMarkus> because Christ Jesus is the Word of Life, and from the beginning lucifer has tried to silence and kill this life from his kingdom....
MadMarkus> even if he has to have men live forever to do it...
jenpam> yes
_Carol_> yes
mic> yes
MadMarkus> because God does not see a stopped heart as death....
MadMarkus> He sees the absence of Him as death.
mic> yes
_Carol_> yes!
mic> and so it is
MadMarkus> therefore, when I in my natural mind....
MadMarkus> tried to forward all natural life, tried to comfort all natural illness, was found also a murderer in the sight of God because I did not know His will.
MadMarkus> and I too was trying to silence the Word of God.
